ChinEagleCourier- Terms and Conditions
This agreement outlines the terms and conditions governing the use of services provided by ChinEagleCourier ("the Company"). By utilizing the Company's services, you ("the Customer") acknowledge and agree to be bound by the terms contained herein.
ChinEagleCourier provides express shipping services, including domestic parcel delivery, package consolidation, and warehouse storage. All services are subject to the limitations and restrictions specified in this document and on the Company's official website. The Company reserves the right to refuse service for any package that, in its sole discretion, is improperly packaged, contains prohibited items, contains illegal items or poses a risk to its employees or assets.
The Customer is responsible for:
Providing accurate and complete information in details (Name, Contact number)
Accurately declaring the contents and value of all shipments.
Ensuring all packages are collected.
Complying with all applicable laws and regulations of both the origin and destination countries.
Air Shipping rates are calculated based on the weight of the item. Items that have a value over $100 US will attract customs charges. The Customer agrees to pay all applicable shipping fees, duties, taxes, and any other charges associated with their shipment. EdgePoint Shipping reserves the right to adjust its rates at any time with prior notice. We reserve the right to require payment in advance.
ChinEagleCourier liability for any loss, damage, or delay to a shipment is limited. The Company shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. ChinEagleCourier maximum liability for any shipment shall not exceed the declared value of the package, or a predetermined amount per shipment, whichever is less, unless the Customer has purchased additional insurance.
Packages arriving at our warehouse must be collected within 7 days. Following this period, they will be classified as abandoned. ChinEagleCourier reserves the right to manage abandoned packages—including selling or disposal—to recover storage and handling costs.
If a customer deliberately refuses to pay for a package or fails to respond to our contact attempts, the package will also be considered abandoned. In these cases, the customer’s account may be permanently suspended. By using our service, you agree to these terms. Please note that no refunds or compensation will be issued for packages that have been deemed abandoned and subsequently handled by our company.
This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Jamaica. The Customer agrees that any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to this agreement shall be brought exclusively in the courts of St. James,Jamaica.
ChinEagleCourier shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations under this agreement if such failure is caused by an event beyond its reasonable control, including, but not limited to, acts of God, war, terrorism, civil unrest, labor disputes, natural disasters, or government regulations.
This document constitutes the entire agreement between the Customer and ChinEagleCourier and supersedes all prior agreements, understandings, and representations.
